My Dance Journey  

Hello my name is Angel Roman, the creative force behind Roman Choreographies, where dance becomes a celebration of life.

Embarking on my dance journey at the young age of 12, I was immersed in the vibrant rhythms of Mexican dance traditions. Coming from a family where every heartbeat is a dance step, I discovered the magic of expression through Latin and Hip Hop dance styles. These early experiences laid the foundation for a lifelong passion for movement.

 As I continued to evolve as a dancer, my path led me to California State University Dominguez Hills. Here, I explored the world of dance academically, embracing styles that ranged from the rhythmic footwork of tap to the grace of ballet and the contemporary expressions of modern dance. This formal education not only broadened my technical skills but also infused my choreography with a rich tapestry of influences. 

Every dance style I’ve embraced holds a special place in my heart, contributing to the unique blend of tradition and innovation you’ll find in our choreography. From the lively beats of Mexican folklore to the urban energy of Hip Hop and the classical elegance of ballet, each style has left its mark on my dance canvas.
